Changes to your Post Office

Hanslope Post Office is due to be refurbished in April. The present set-up, with a separate counter, will change to one where all transactions will take place at the main counter. It means the Post Office will be closed for a few days while the changes take place. Users are asked to comment on the proposed changes. It will be open for longer but some services will no longer be offered, such as international parcels and help with passport applications. Full details are available from the Post Office, and also in the letter below.

The letter lists both continuing services and the ones that will no longer be available. For example, international parcels up to 2 kg and printed papers up to 5 kg will still be able to be sent but ‘Parcelforce Worldwide’ parcels will no longer be accepted. If you would like to tell the Post Office what you think then please see the letter below for contact details.
