Volunteers from Santander give Village Hall a facelift

18 volunteers from Santander descended on the Village Hall on Wednesday 15th August 2012 and in ONE DAY they:

• painted the new central heating pipe boxes,
• re-painted some of the main hall walls and kick bar,
• sorted out our outside stores, filling a skip with rubbish,
• removed damaged fence posts from side car park,
• trimmed the trees and cleared the weeds,
• boxed up the massive stock of donated ink & toner cartridges which we can now get a donation for,
• gave us £250 towards the costs of paint and materials.
